Do you guys remember the writing question in the earlier section where there was answe choices between 'attempts to deploy" or “attempts of deploying”?

^ oh yes I remember that question! I couldn’t decide between the two. I think I chose “attempts to deploy” in the end because I thought “attempts to” sounded more “grammatical” than “attempts of”

^ Yeah,me too.That was one of the question I wasn’t sure about.

Was it the question where options a and b had “of” in the sentence and c,d,e had “to”?

^ Yeap,but c didn’t have “to” or “of”.And I was fairly certain that c was wrong.

If I am not wrong, the wording “attempt of deploying” is generally preferred over “attempt to deploy”, subject to the context within which the wording is employed.

A similar question was discussed here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1075298-sat-january-2011-international-discussion-post11894457.html#post11894457

@zackzm
But I thought for the question discussed earlier,it was not the “to” part that was wrong but actually the awkward wording of the some other part of the sentence.I can’t be sure though.

@kimayu wat awkward wording do u mean??

@zackzm
