I found this SAT easier than both the November and December. I missed a couple of math problems, but overall it was easy. Post any questions here so others can discuss them.

what did u put for the question that asked for the square pyramid comparison?
answer choices were 60,20,180,240, and something else

I got 60h. I wouldn’t count out stupid mistakes though, I make those all the time.

dang. ru sure?

I’m never 100%, but I was pretty confident about that one. As I said, I always make stupid mistakes, so that’s another possibility.

i got 60h as well

What happened to the thread in SAT preparation for international test?
I got banned because I participated in the discussion.
The internationals should have all finished test by now, and they got me banned after this all but not during the test. Ridiculous.

You earned a short suspension for repeatedly ignoring requests to NOT discuss the test before the deadline this site has imposed. Several students pointed that out to you. At this stage, you are allowed to return in 24 hours. Creating a new account and discussing moderation will result in a permanent ban.

In the future, international students who are unwilling to respect our basic rules and ignore the warning posts of others will be banned on the spot without second changes. The early discussions and blatant disregard of rules by some international students will NOT be tolerated.

Trinity

This actually went better than it usually does for me. I had experimental CR, which was kinda lame.

did anyone get emptiness sth for the sky one…since later it was twirled with sunlight etc so it was empty before

sad about her son sth? was that an answer too?

I don’t think so. The author tried to convey the suggestion that the once blank and insipid sky started to look much more interesting after being observed with a prying eye. I don’t remember anything about circling a answer including “emptiness” in it.

Not sure though. I remember the text more than the answers.

I actually believe i circled emptiness.

yes because he actually imagined the sky as a blue sheet …and then it was clearly stated that the sky got twirled with sunlight etc

did anyone of you put ‘crass’

bring up some reading passages questions people.

^ I put ‘fleeting’ on that question, saeedajmal, and it was number 19 in the last Critical Reading section. I believe both authors stated that products of mass cultures are ‘fleeting’, or do not last for a long time, since things come and go in the world of comic books.

For the ‘blue sheet’ question about the sky, I thought it referred to a ‘simplistic perception’ of the true wonders of the sky. Nothing in the sentence implied that it was full or empty. However, he implied that it was “ever-changing” and “taking on many forms” and “interesting.” All these words suggest that the blue sheet had the contrary perception: a simplistic perception, one that does not appreciate the true beauty of the sky.

i think by now it’s okay to say it–
check out December 2009 SAT’s CR and W

@ Fat Nerd…yes i put fleeting too …but that was a different question

@ Fat Nerd…it did refer to emptiness …the blue sky transformed and was later filled(twirled as used in the passage) with sunlight
