How hard is the subject test? Does anyone know if there's a raw score conversion chart?

This is from the official guide:
Latin: 75 questions
-8: 800
-9: 790
-10: 780
[each -2 after, subtract 10 points. -22=700]
From an actual administration of the test

I take Latin in my school, and have known a few people to actually take the Latin SAT II. Usually people who have done well in at least a year of Latin poetry (i.e. prose or Virgil) have had the background to score well.

What year of Latin are you in? Are you usually getting awarded after each NLE (National Latin Exam)?

I think, as with the AP Latin exam, they do expect you to be able to translate on the spot.

risubu, you mean (-22=720)?

HONORLIONS, I am trying to fulfill a language requirement for college–I don’t need a perfect score. Just anything 550 or above.

I took a couple practice tests on collegeboard, and half of the test is no walk in the park. You gotta know how to sight read passages. It’s not enough to pick up a few words then make an educated guess as to what the sentence is about. The answer choices seem so strikingly similar that you won’t be able to “weedle” your way through.

@Juvenis - I know that this is an old thread, but where were you able to take a couple practice tests on collegeboard?
Also, are there any practice tests that any of you could pm me?
Thanks.
I’ll make the list of every official resource I know:
- 29 questions on collegeboard.org https://subjecttestspractice.collegeboard.org/practice/sat-subject-test-preparation-latin?practiceTestSectionIDKey=Subject.LATIN
- Official Guide practice test

Not two many (pun!).
Thanks, this is helpful! @icebob99
Does anyone have a list/know of a list of high frequency vocabulary for the SAT II Latin test? My Latin vocab is strong but sometimes I get tripped up by a few in the reading or derivatives section
