hi :)
I took the sat in march and I was wondering if anyone could verify if the scores i received seem reasonable.
First off, I didn't omit any problems in the whole test.
-Math- I got two problems wrong and received a 740? I thought it might be higher because I did pretty well, so was the curve really bad or did college board mis-report my scores?
-Critical Reading- I got three problems wrong and received a 740 as well. Though this score seems a little more plausible, I would really appreciate if anyone or anyone they know of could verify that they received the same score for three wrong and none omitted, or perhaps a better score than I have for more problems wrong.
Thank you for your help!

I have not seen a chart of any sort. But I have heard from just about everyone on CC that the March SAT curve was BRUTAL with a capital F (for frustration).

Sadly, that was the curve. Absolutely brutal in the 700+ range, but once CR fell under 700, you could miss another 10 to get to 600. So it was brutal, then extremely linient.

umm i got 2 wrong on writing and i got a 710 >.<

Though I do not believe I did as well on the May 2010, do you guys believe that the curve will be just as poor? In fact, does anyone know how the curve is formed because I assumed it would be good b/c many ap students might not take it considering ap exams are this coming week. However, is it formed before we even take the test??

It’s a bell curve of sorts, is it not? So it can’t possibly be formed without people’s scores… Or am I misinformed?

determined before

Hi hsgirl93

I got 3 questions in CR wrong in march, no omits and also got 2 math questions wrong. I received a 740 on both. Hope this helps
