Do you guys think it was really bad, or did I just screw up a lot? I'm glad with the score I got but wish I had done better math-wise. I used to be better in math than English, but this year my PreCal PAP course is a blow off and my English III AP requires my constant attention, so I'm guessing that contributed to it..

Cr-710
Math-690
Writing-800 (-0, 10 essay)

Honestly, the math section is all about studying. I went from a 620 to 760 simply by reviewing the topics and doing practice tests.

The Math section doesn’t really have anything to do with your level of Math.

For most of the people I know, it’s a question of not making careless mistakes.

I got a 690 first time I took it and ordered the QAS and found out I had bubbled incorrectly.

I got a 800 the 2nd time.

It’s just an endurance game.

Yea I think I bubbled incorrectly on some because I remember getting semi-sloppy (I wasn’t tired or anything, though), so I bubbled some writing in on a math answer section. I went back and erased those bubbles and maybe I accidentally erased too many… I don’t know. I thought I had only missed two.

Is it bad that my CR + M looks worse than my total? Would you recommend a retake?

I personally would retake that score simply because many colleges use writing only for placement but do not really look at it.

Most schools I know of use the CR+M.

And if you got an 800 writing, you’d most likely get it again.

Okay. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to take it again (like all first-time-takers). :(

By placement, what exactly do you mean?

I was going to ask the same thing…but I think by placement he means what writing class you take.

does somebody know where I can find my essay score. I already got all my scores, but I don’t know where to find the specific essay score from 1 to 12. please, thank you

If you click on view scores, it will give you a breakdown of CR, M, and W. Look under writing and it says your scores for the MC section and the essay itself.

Here’s what I have for the math curve using the data so far :)

54 800
53 780
52 760
51 740
51 730
50 710
49 700
48 690

This puts the curve on the average-to-nice side (i.e., the math was on the harder side).

^Why is a 51 both a 730 and a 740?

Because I screwed up :)

54 800
53 780
52 760
51 740
50 730
49 710
48 700
47 690
