SAT May 2009 Math

I got b=5
I confirm 36
2 is correct as well.

b = 10; slope should be the same.

I think I remember getting b = 10…

I don’t really remember the problem very well though.

It was her after physics but before roberto.
Roberto took English.

Ergo:

Othergirl - Physics (Tues)
Her- Calc (Wed)
Roberto (NameIdk?)-English (Thurs)

getting an 800 on math =
not getting kanye’s shoes = :(

^ the answer should be whatever that is precedes y, whether it be 5 or 10, I can’t recall it well.

Looks like I misread the question in my hurry to finish. Ah well…

B was 10. The slope was -1x/5 and for the second one you got -2x. Divide -2 by 10 and you get -1/5.

what was the answer 101 for?

no you guys are right, b=10 not 5.

I knew it simplified to 1/5 though :P

wow i think i put the other girl as my answer…though i dont remember what i put for that one just a hunch

just keep the list updated guys

here’s what we have so far. DO NOT discuss anything already on that list. (unless you see a blaring error)

101’s the angle of x.

Please recall some other problems, and get over the answers on the confirmed list (at lease I did, grudgingly)

the one with two years of earthquakes was like 562 or some ish

I think 562 was right…

yeah, it is right. 281x2 is 562.

281x2*

I really really REALLY hope I remembered to multiply by 2 for that problem. It was easy but it seems like one that I would just slip up on.

what about the in terms of a + b

when u flip over y-axis then x-axis

-(a+b) right?

^thnx for the edit :P

anyways, i’m going to go study. keep the list updated.

for the sphere one, some people got 6, but the question asked for the longest possible distance on the SURFACE of the sphere.
can somebody confirm this?

I was stuck on that question too. It didn’t specify surface or diameter. It was very vague. Originally I put 18.8 (6pi - the circumference - rounded to the nearest tenth) and then I changed it to 3.

All it said was AB with a line over it. I suspected that since it was a line segment it had to be straight; the diameter.

i got -(a+b)
