October 2009 SAT Math

Discuss. If there's already one, ignore this.

was the answer 666 for positive integers less than 1000 divisible by 3

this test seemed soo much easier than all the ones i took before, anyone agree? going to be a bad curve?

Yes I got that.

Yes, 999-999/3=666.

I don’t think that many of the “hard” problems were “hard”–but I felt the overall difficulty was similar to the June Math.

Did anyone get a section with a question like “the point (0,0) is rotated 180 degrees clockwise around point P. The point it creates is (a,-a)…”?

It had grid-ins later, too.

Was that an experimental section?

what about the uphill down hill question

was that like 4/7?

4/7 is right

What did you guys put for the math question with the three circles? I can’t really remember it or the answers but it was towards the end.

^ i think it was 6/7

OK, confirmed answer list:
666
4/7

i didnt have that, i guess that is experimental bc i had a different experimental section for math.

It was so easy!!!
I missed two, and I figure out the answer before break. I was sitting in front of the desk and he was doing nothing but watching us, so I couldn’t go back. Oh well. I think I did better than any other time.

*figured out the answer during the break. He= proctor

You got the year wrong. This thread is invalid.

rad 2
62x^2
(x+y)^2
none for one of the I,II, III
I only for the other with x<y r<s
x^(-1/2)
c(x) 8+.50k
solve for b was 2x+k (i think)?
14 for the 7th term
(6, 10) for circle

fill in
666
9 for the hexagon?
7.5
4.75 for the slope with greater than (3/4) less than 1 (multiple answers)
velocity 20.5 or 20.6 i think

what was the velocity question?

I put 9 for hexagon question

it was rad 3 not rad 2
