SAT May 2009 Math

I think that bob one was E, 60.

oh…i said 60 because the guy had $210 dollars…

ooo yeah thats what i remember now…yaeh agriculture was 832… For the venndiagram you just added the numbers where the circles overlapped one another twice right?

yepp 10char

just remembered one more, somebody confirm it.

(x+3)^2 = y, what does x^2 + 6x equal? y-9</of></x<2>

(x+3)^2 one looks right to me. It was just simple factoring.

yeah i put x^2+6x=y-9

oh yeaa i remember that one.

I’m pretty sure I did good on the Math. I only left one blank the entire test though, and it was an extended-response math question.

The 20 minute section was the most difficult, if only because your concentration was waning by that point, but I’m pretty sure I got every question right on that part.

wait i think i remember another one;

there was a rectangle 4 x 7. and it said that the area of the rectangle had the same area as the triangle with base (something) and then find the height.?

height was 4

No… I know what ur talking about. Thats a different question than what I’m asking

i had the question jne is talking about, not sure the one you are asking though…

See, I just don’t remember them asking for POSITIVE odd numbers.

Anybody remember the problem differently?

does anyone know what the answer was for the miles per gallon graph? i put B but someone said D earlier

The answer is D. I simply used proportions to check all of the dot values.

^^^^ Yeah, there were a few questions that weren’t at the end of the sections that nonetheless required some thinking. I’m really hoping we’ll somehow get a -1 = 800 curve because it looks like my chances for 800s in CR and W are very good.

I think it was D just find the line with the steepest slope

It was D because of the slope.

i had it between B and D but i must have plugged in the wrong number or something when i figured it out. but so far thats the only one I got wrong
