SAT May Goals

So I'm taking the SAT for the 2nd time in May.

I'm pretty nervous.

I got a subpar score the first time and am REALLY hoping to go over 2100 this time.

What are your goals? Any first timers (Best of luck!!)?

Current highest scores
Cr: 610
Math: 700
Writing: 700

Goal for May
Reading:700+
Math:770+
Writing: 770+

I’m not going to take it in May, but here are my goals for next time:

CR: 750+
Math: 750+
Writing: 12 essay

My goal is a 1400/1600 and a 2100 total. I got a 1980 last time.

^Wow same boat as you, and sort of with Shaheiruddin, though you have a higher score than me.

I have a 1990 best average right now, hoping to tip over at least 2100.

What are you study plans? Unfortuantely, I haven’t prepped half as much as I should:/

Bad thing about stacking up on AP Classes!!

I’m retaking in October.

I have a 1400/1600 and 2110. First time. Eh…

Hoping for 1500+/1600 and 2250+.

Only goal: 720+ CR. I already have a 800 M and a 780 W in the bank. need that CR for 2300+

For studying all I’m doing is redoing the QAS’s I have, CB BB, and Direct hits.

I feel like I should do at least an hour a night, but lately…ehh that’s not been happening.

Guess I’ll have to step it up.

I love how SAT dates just creep up on you!

Current -> Goal

R: 600 -> 660
M: 740 -> 800
W: 610 -> 660

The writing I think is possible, the math is a bit unlikely because I’m always so careless… and the reading I doubt will pull off lol

Tbomb ill trade u my 660 reading for your 740 math lol I got a 680 in math

Im DOing for the 1st Time On May My Goal is 1800 :)

Same situation as cheeseball with scores. I can’t retake in May due to AP study stress, and I can’t retake in June due to taking subject tests then. October, therefore. Even if that means stressing all summer.
I’m also considering the ACT, but it’s unlikely I’ll take it due to it being less “studyable”. I’ll take a practice exam soon and see if I get a suitable score.
Also, if I receive a 5 on my AP English Exam, I may use that as a buffer for colleges to overlook my low CR score, and decide not to risk retaking the SAT and dropping my nice math score (colleges I’m applying to generally do not superscore).

I feel rather miffed at myself, as many 2400ers on this site say they received that score after having taken over twenty practice tests, one person citing as many as over fifty. I took less than five (considering a brief stint with a tutor to be “good enough”–it wasn’t), and didn’t study at all for PSATs (was ten points away from my state’s traditional merit cutoff; I didn’t realize how important and amazing that scholarship was until it was too late). If I do retake the SAT, I’ll study as hard as I can, and as hard as I should have last summer.
[ends regretful whining]

I haven’t taken SAT before, but I want to achieve:
CR -> 700+
Maths -> 800
Writing -> 750+

1st time in march:
640 CR
740 M
730 W (11e)
2110 Composite

Goal for may:
700+ CR
800 M (It’s not that I don’t know the stuff, it’s making stupid mistakes)
750+ W (11+ e)
This comes out to be 2250+, but I’d be fine with 2200+

First timer…

Aiming for at least 1800…

March 2010 Score:
CR: 520
W: 630
M: 710

Next time:
CR: 650-700
W: 750
M: 800

my second time too! I really want at least a 2000…
I got a 1730 in December :
I hope I can do eeet…!
