I dont remember that one but I’m not a consistent 800 so you should probably ask someone else.

In the Chinese girl question, why is it not “genuinely indifferent” instead of “motivation for her mother’s being forthcoming”?

I think those two were answers to two different questions…

How did the Chinese girl question go like?

Was it pristine…deterred OR inaccessible…thwarted ??? I chose the latter, because nothing suggested the Amazon was pristine; all they said was the soil couldn’t be used for agriculture and something else…

Guys, is the one with the answer 18 for the trapezoid the experimental one??? Please be it!!!

@ccuser It wasn’t because it was a grid-in

:S, :S…all hope’s gone now.

Was it close-knit or nimble-witted??? I probably over-thought this one. The 2007 thread agree that it was “close-knit”, but I did “nimble-witted” because the author spoke about how “ignorant” they are, and if they let her into their clique, she wouldn’t label them as close-knitted. I’m quite sure I’m wrong; collegeboard sucks.

Yeah it wasn’t the experimental.
Nimble-witted isn’t dumb-witted so I put close-knit, due to the fact that they are so familiar with each other.
Skimming through the 2007 June sat thread makes me feel sad chances of getting 2300 are getting smaller… Wasn’t awake during section 2 which was a fricken CR section.

EDIT: Heres the link to the 2007 June curve

hopefully this time round it will stay roughly the same or, I’m probably just being too optimistic, be more lenient

@jabbawockie
it is not genuinely different
@atheena
you are right about to state a wide range of topics

So what do you guys think -2 on the Maths and 3 wrong on the CR will be?

Thank you Shawki! Hopefully 700+

I think the math curve was like this 800-780-750-730-720-700

Damn 750 Might retake in November. I made a ridiculously stupid mistake for the trapezoid one and put 360/20= 12. Couldn’t go to sleep last night thinking about that.
Thanks Shawki,
How do you know all of this out of interest?

I solved this test before it was October 2008 so I got it on papers couldn’t believe myself yesterday when I found it even though I got the trapezoid one wrong

@Sazzabazza i did the same thing :/

Oh wow, so was it just the Maths section or the whole paper?

Just the math
