I am a Junior this year and have just completed both an SAT and ACT practice test without any prior studying or information regarding the format of the tests. I scored a 1910 on the SAT and a 23 on the ACT. For the SAT I scored 670 on writing, 650 on math, and 590 on critical reading. For the ACT I scored a 24 on English, a 26 on math, a 21 on reading, and a 22 on science. The main reason I scored so low on the ACT is because I am a slow test taker and as a result left about 15 questions on each section blank because I ran out of time. My goal is to get into a top computer science or business program because I have had an opportunity to take college classes in high school and have really enjoyed these subjects. I am currently enrolled in calculus, so I feel that if I go back and brush up on my geometry I will score higher on the math section. I want to take my first round of tests early 2015 and take my second round in June of 2015 so that I can focus on college essays and applications over the summer and into my senior year. My question is, should I focus my study time only on the SAT and forget about the ACT, or should I split my time evenly (try to become a faster test taker) and take both tests the first round and try to improve my better score of the two in June. Thanks in advance for your help!

Your SAT is already higher than your ACT, and the ACT is considered a time intensive exam. Practice for the SAT.
