SAT or ACT? Scores posted

Hi! I'm having trouble choosing between the SAT and ACT.

I took the PSAT (not SAT) and here are my scores:
critical reading: 51 math: 52 writing skills: 52
sum: 155 in the 67th percentile

practice ACT:
english: 24 writing: 8 english/writing combo: 23 math: 23 reading: 22 science: 7
composite: 22

i didn't study for both of the practice tests btw

If you could please tell me which one you think I should take please do so. Or tell me which ones I should work on if you do tell me which test I should take.

I looked at the act to sat conversion chart here (http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html</a>) and your act score of 22 correlates to an estimated score of 1530 or a range between 1510-1550. I think you might have done slightly better on the PSAT since your score is at the top region of the act scored range equivalent. If I were in your position, I would take the SAT because it lacks the speed or time issue students face often and the science section.

OP, are you a Junior?

They are about the same scores when converted but the SAT is generally easier to improve upon with studying so I would go with the SAT. However, it ultimately is up to you. Which test did you feel more comfortable taking? If you’re not sure, then take more practice tests for each to get more of a fell or start with the SAT and if it doesn’t work out, switch to the ACT.

Yes, I am a junior
