I took the PSAT soph. year and junior year - soph year I got a 139, junior year 162. I know it's bad - laugh all you want, I could care less what you say about my grades, I just want to know what's best for me. Sophomore year, I took the "PLAN", which is the practice ACT - got a 23, and I'm "projected" to get a 28, but I'm looking to get a 30,31,32. I liked the ACT more. I'm awful at reading, the science section of the ACT was tricky for me, but I didn't like the PSAT at all. What do you think?

(Again, don't criticize about the low scores haha)

The ACT is not more predictable. For the ACT you can get a max of 5 actual tests and after that you’ll have to practice from review books not made by the real company.

If you take the SAT, given you have enough time to study, you will get a lot more out of it. First of all, CR actually tests you on your reading skills so studying for that will boost your comprehension. Second of all, you will never run out of REAL SAT practice tests, the collegeboard book has 10 alone.

IMO the ACT is harder to prep for because of the time constraints. You need to learn how to work very quickly and under pressure; and the science sections sucks, ha. The SAT material may be “harder” but they give you enough time to actually think about what you’re doing.
