SAT or ACT

All of the things that I have read about the SAT and ACT have been somewhat vague on whether you have to take both of them for admissions into the academy. I am going to take both of them but just wanted clarification on this issue.

You only NEED to take one but many take two because the Academy accepts your best score. And some naturally do better on one vs. the other. Taking that further, you should keep taking (both) exams 'till you're satisfied since it can't hurt you. This is different from many other schools (although I believe all the service academies work this way). Good luck!

It seems that schools on the coasts are obsessed with the SAT for some odd reason. I've taken both tests and by far I believe the ACT is superior. Try the ACT out.

I actually like the SAT better but then I haven't gotten my score back so Imay not when I see them but the act IS ok I just really don't like the scince part which I finally raised enough to go above the academy minimum.

I did well on both, but the SAT had so many darn sections. Ugh I hated that test.

So they take your best test (between the SAT and ACT), not the best sections from each time you take either test.

They take the best sections from any time.
