English is not my native language. Many colleges ask for TOEFL if eng is not the native lang.
I just wanted to know whether I should give SAT Or ACT.

If so pls tell me which one to take SAT or ACT. I want to go to a good univ. Such as Ivy league or HYPSM.

The SAT or ACT exam is required for admission to HYPSM - and a good deal of U.S. institutions, for that matter.

Harvard, Yale, and Princeton are Ivy Leagues.

Anyway, have you looked at the particular programs at all the “Ivies” you are considering applying to? The Ivy League is merely an athletic conference of eight schools and has no further meaning; all eight schools are vastly different. It would be to your benefit to look more closely at the schools before applying, lest you end up spending an absurd amount of money on applications to institutions you might not care for.

I agree with post #2. You could try practice tests for both the SAT and ACT and see which one you’re better with. Then just take the test that you think you’ll do better on. If you’re good at both, then take both, since the colleges you mentioned (and most colleges in general) will accept both SAT and the ACT. Just some advice: Make sure you expand your college search to include targets and safety colleges also!

I would recommend that you take the ACT. The SAT is 1/3 Reading, 1/3 Writing, and 1/3 Math. If you were more strong in the Math and Sciences Area (like me and a lot of foreigners are), then the ACT is 1/2 Math and Science, and 1/2 Reading and English. That way, the science and math can become a larger part of your score.
