Okay. So i got a 5 on AP Physics C : Mec. I didnt take EM, but i did take honors physics in 9th grade. I have the PR book and will review the whole book. How hard do I need to study to get a perfect score and how difficult will the test be for me??? Thanks.

It shouldn’t be hard at all. I took regular Physics and got a 680 by cramming the week before

But I hear SAT Physics is much harder than AP Physics and that it is tests on different aspects of physics… most of it at least.

ETENNIS12: How did you get 5 on physics as a freshman and only taking an honors class? Are you naturally smart or did you study really hard?

Not really that hard - I got an 800 on SAT Physics. Easiest standardized test I have ever taken lol…

It was pretty easy. The curve is pretty generous and the questions are mostly straightforward. I took Physics B, and the SAT exam was definitely easier than the AP exam (800 and 5 here).

Is SAT 2 Physics that easy? Great to hear it. But I don’t study it regularly, I only cram up. In what ways should I study and how long should I study in order to get between 700 and 800?

I’d say take a few practice tests. Your avg. score on those should be close to your score on the actual test (I used the Princeton Review book).

The test is pretty easy, but make sure you’re comfortable with the time constraints. I really screwed up on test day: I was drowsy, worked way too slowly, and ended up with a 750, giving me an ugly stain on an otherwise decent testing record. Oh well :P
