SAT Policy for UCs

<p>My mom is continuously badgering me about retaking my 2170, going, "Oh, you'll have more colleges that you can apply to, blah blah blah," as if the SAT is the most fricking critical factor in applications. She acts like people who don't reach the threshold can't get in at all.</p>

<p>Of course, considering my lack of ECs, I might be one of those people, but whatever.</p>

<p>Anyway, she seems to think that I can take the SATs as many times as I want, and I only have to send my best score to the UCs. I think she's saying I can take it 5 times, and if I finally get a 2300 or whatever by then, that's all that matters.</p>

<p>I tell her that UCs require all scores. She tells me that my information is outdated (as if she researches any of these things...)</p>

<p>So, would anyone like to tell me what the current UC SAT policy is? It will be very much appreciated.</p>
