SAT Practice Complete the day before the real test?

D was supposed to take the complete practice test today but we got confused with the timing. Can't take it tomorrow. Is it okay to take it the Friday before the test? FYI she is saying it will be fine, I just don't know if she should rest. Has been preparing for a couple of weeks. Any experience? What does the research say about this? My gut says no. Thanks!

It’d be very good actually, I myself solved some challenging maths and CR on the morning of the test day, it helped my brain get into SAT mode. It’s very fine, no worries. just see to it that she gets 7-8 hrs of sound sleep before the test day. That should be plenty of rest.

Most testing experts recommend students do not extensively study the day before a test. Similar to the way athletes do not practice before a big competition, it’s best to give the brain a break so that it’s fresh the next morning. I am taking the test this Saturday, and the extent of my studying on Friday will be to run through a list of idioms and irregular verbs.
