To Those Taking the January SAT: Are you going to school on Friday???

Okay so I am debating between whether or nor I will go to school tomorrow since it is the day before the SAT. I don't have any tests that day either. I just want to get myself in a good mental state the day before and relax without school work. Idon't want to get home tired and fighting the desire to sleep while I try to prepare for the SAT the next day. So I was just wondering if other CC people do this too.

Also, what do you do to prep the day before the SAT?

I'll probably go over tips for each section and missed questions from previous tests.

…yes? Why not- if you need an extra day to prepare, you should have started studyin a long time ago.
Tomorrow I’ll probably read through some of the reading passages in the BB and practice a bit of critical reading, but that’s it. Hope for the best.

Okay I see where you are coming from. And there’s nothing wrong with going to school the day before the SAT testing day. But just to clarify I’m not missing school so I can study. I’m not going so I can relax and not worry about anything. Trust me I have studied enough all ready. I wont be taking any timed practice tests the day before the SAT. I just don’t want to have to rush home from school and end up not having energy to go over a few tips I may want to go over before the test day. Or going over a few missed questions just to remind myself. I want to be able to do this without being rushed and I want to make sure there’s no excuse for not getting a good long night’s sleep. Maybe it’s just me haha that feels this way haha…

After writing this I actually realized that I’ve already made up my mind haaha. Maybe it’s out of wanting to prepare for the SAT and develop a relaxed mental state or just purely out of laziness since I found an excuse not to go to school tomorrow. It may just be the latter :P
