SAT Prep. Help.

I am a junior who would like to know how to prepare for the SAT.
I dont know how to organize my time and schedule to prepare for the SAT.
Before, I thought I could do it every night but then my workload is more than I expected. So I was wondering if anyone who already took/taking the SAT to help me to create a plan ... ANYTHING ! .. ANything you have in mind is GREAT.. how can i study and when ..
I bought the PR for sat .. what I should i buy to help me do really well on it.. besides PR.. THANKS

well.. buy the Blue Book from collegeboard, the collegeboard online course, Get barrons math and writing, and barrons 2400....and if you start studying now, i guranteee you'll be in the 2000 range by next yr. unless ur slow or sumthing. also dont put off studying, start now!!

barrons math? is it good? cuz i am really bad at math .. i can get A's in class but afterward i forget the stuff i learned .. so thats the problem ..
i will check out Barrons 2400. thanks

the barrons is very good, it about covers every damn topic there is to know on the SAT math. I recommend you do it. Basically understanding the concepts in barrons math should pull u up to least a 600. btw, plz dont waste ur parents money on SAT classses, unless ur aiming below a 2000 or sumthin. anotha tip which i highly recommend is confidence. i went in took the SAT I in april, all nervous n ****.... did really bad (1580). During the summer i studied, so-so, im in the 2100 range as of now.

Actually, judging from how you've described yourself, I think you're better off signing up for an SAT prep class. Usually people who have a harder time structuring a study plan usually can benefit from prep with an instructor's guidance because you're forced to work on it.

okay. I will go buy Barrons math cuz i am really bad at math. hope that will help me ! .. yeah .. i dont really want to sign up for SAT prep courses ..cuz its soo expensive .. i dont want to so much pressure on my parents. thanks for the advice.

this summer my parents spent $1000 on Kaplan... I went in der for 6 classses, i thot it was dumb and left. parents got ****ed, but i told them not to sign me up beforehand. Candace wat math are you in?

Candace,
I am in the same boat with you now. I'm going to take SAT in Nivember, but there's so many workload and until now I just remember that I have to take the test in Nivember. I have only one month to prepare for the test. What the hell it is? I don't know. Anyway, I will try my best.

Also, I want to ask a question. I hope to receive help from all of you.

Where lesser scholars would have been_________ by the vast collection of unpublished letters, rough drafts, and journals left by Henry James, Leon Edel was emboldened by its discovery and began to plan an ambitious series of studies on the life and works of the novelist.
A. intrigued
B. encouraged
C. incensed
D. taxed
E. daunted

I choose A, 'cause I think the word chosen should have related meaning to "emboldened", but it's not the right answer. I really don't know why. Hope your help.

You were right in thinking that the answer should relate to the word emboldened, but it should be an opposite, not a synonym. You can tell that by the first word in the sentence, "Where" (meaning here 'whereas'), which indicates that it's going to show a contrast. So the opposite of emboldened -- made braver, is daunted---to abate(take away) the courage of. See?

The answer is E
