SAT Prep in Korea or US?

Hello. I'm a sophomore living in the U.S.
I plan on enrolling in an SAT prep class this summer, mainly to improve my math score. Actually, it would be great to improve dramatically in all the sections. :)

I'm having a hard time choosing between signing up for a SAT prep programs in Korea or staying here for the summer and attending, most likely, a nearby Recas.

The problem is that from what I've heard, the Recas nearby isn't very helpful to students that aren't in their top level classes. I think it is considered one of the best prep schools around here though so I'm a little iffy on going there. I don't know too many other places. I guess I could look for a different school but I didn't look too far into that. Also, I'm worried about the distraction I would face if I do stay. It's too comfortable here lol.

As for Korea, I'm sort of assuming that the schools are better there. Money isn't really a problem. I'm mainly concerned about the language issues. I'm not quite fluent in Korean. I can speak it well enough above a conversational level but I don't know if the classes will be taught fully in Korean. I'm hoping maybe a mix of both English and Korean? I know the teachers are usually graduates from top unis in the U.S. I just think it'd be a good way to get myself to really focus on studying during the time I'm there.

If money isn’t an issue, then I’d say you should study in Korea. I heard they have some very hard core instructing that raises student’s grades from abroad to around 200 - 500 points.

Way better in Korea, but Recas isn’t what it once was, unfortunately.
