Hello Members of CC i recently just bought my Blue Book from amazon . Im aming at 1500 or 1600 the first sat i took in june i got an embarassing score of 1200 so will the SAT official study guide second edition of collegeboard and guthers sat guide of 2011 be enough to increase my score. And Since it's the summer i want to put all my efforts in increasing my score so would be studying 5-6 per day be good practice time or is that too excessive?

I think that is a little excessive. For the most part, I agree with the method here. JaminJuni outlines pretty well why studying less is actually more here and has a good plan for tackling it. A 400 point increase is tough, but it’s not impossible when you’re starting at a 1200. It requires a lot of work, but you can definitely do it. Best of luck in your studies!
