I took the SATs in June without studying at all and didn't do so well, and since i'm quite lazy i thought that doing maybe 30minutes per day of study using the PR online course (not live, just self directed) from Late July until Early october (maybe doing less somedays and then doing more closer towards the SAT) could get me familiar with everything i need to do and make sure i am able to do well.

So how is this course? Will i be able to achieve a high score doing what i said above?
Or should i do the college board's online course?

I'm an international student so there really isn't any other courses i can take, and online courses are fun so i would prefer this anyways:)

How did you go in the individual sections? As an Australian international student I found the writing section hardest, while CR and Math were relatively straightforward.

Maybe instead of 30 minutes daily you could try sitting a few practice tests each week?

hey.
that link went straight back to my thread, unless my computer isn’t working.
well i didn’t do so well at all, maths was quite good though for first time i guess.
writing was the worst, CR was pretty bad too…

hmm well i don’t have time to do practice tests each week right now it’s a very busy time for me, but i could possibly set aside 30min per day, or even just do 30minutes every other day and then extend when i have time… its easier to get into bed before sleep and just spend some time on an online course then an actual exam hehe.

what are your thoughts on the course though? not much about it for someone who barely anything:P?

I’m still adamant in my belief of putting pen to paper; you could try taking a section of a practice test everyday (would definitely fit into 30 minutes). Oh and if you read your score report you can find out on what types of questions you made errors, which should help guide you in your study.

I dunno about any online courses, the closest I had was the SAT question per day email thing. :o

^ haha okay i may start doing that a bit later, but i need to know the theory/concepts and how to do everything since practice only may not be the best…
but thanks:) i will start doing this closer to the exam!
