<p>I dont think the answer to the comedian one is praised them for audacity.. audacity has a kind of negative connotation to it has a partial meaning of reckless or rash... i dont think thats right</p>

<p>but the author of passage one did not focus on the artificiality. the author said that comedians weren't funny.</p>
<p>the passage of author two thought it was brave of the comedians to go in front of the stage, expected to be funny, and then actually be funny. </p>
<p>it also seemed like the author of passage two did not "tolerate" comedy. he seemed to have a more positive view.</p>
