How is the math section of the SAT reasoning test different from the Math I SAT subject test?

Is a kid who struggles with math and gets low to mid 500s in the math section of the SAT reasoning test likely to do better, worse, or about the same on the Math I subject test?

Thanks!

SAT Subject Math Level 1 adds: trigonometry, more functions (symmetry, compound), complex numbers, more solid geometry (spheres, cones, etc.).

Hard to say how you would do; some people find it harder (a little more advanced math), others find it easier (the questions may refer to math they recently covered in class).

Take one of the old College Board math 1 tests to get a good idea of what your score would be.
