Do they need official scores or can they be on the transcripts?

You need to ask admissions. My son sent in official scores, but his HS transcript does not report SAT scores.

you need to send official scores- i've never actually heard of a college accepting your scores on your high school transcript. adcoms are scared of your GC lying for you

I know that some schools do accept them on the transcripts. Like Williams and also Whitman.

The RD deadline has passed for this year. Are you applying as a transfer student? In any case I checked the web site and it says official score report or official scores or score report whether you are International, transfer or regular US app. So yes, that sounds to me like you need them sent.

every school asks for official report but a photocopied and attested report works too in many. i think it works in grinnell.

I ended up calling and they do accept scores on transcripts

Thank you for that answer, you have made my week a bit easier. : )

No problem.

Dayum, I should have asked and saved my money!
