A lot of people have been saying that SAT's taken in October aren't going to be considered under EA, does anyone know if this means that tests taken before October that are sent in at the same time will be considered? I took 1 SAT II this October and in my registration I filled out that it should be sent to Georgetown, but I had also taken 3 SAT II's and the SAT's previously, which were going to be sent with that score report. Thanks.

They only receive scores if you send them, which means they will receive none of your scores. You'll need to call to see if this is a problem. I know they don't mind if you don't have all of your subject tests yet, but the SAT represents a slightly larger problem. For reference, I sent a single score report at the beginning of September, and I'm sending another one following the November administration of the test.

thanks for the info, do you know if georgetown will accept rushed scores, I'd rather not have them look at my EA without my SAT scores.

No, they say rushed scores take longer to process than regular. Don't worry, the worst that can happen is you'll be deferred.

I emailed someone in the admissions office about SAT/SAT II scores and whether or not to rush them, and he replied that no matter when you took the test (October or even last May) rush scores arrive at the same time as regular scores. Something about how that's how college board makes money....

stupid question, but if I send one score report, does it have all the tests I've taken (SAT and SAT IIs)?

yes mollypockets

thanks! one more question...I'm retaking the SAT on Nov. 4. and I'm applying EA to Georgetown. Should I send a score report NOW or just list them as one of my schools for the Nov. 4th test? Will they get the scores/consider them?

I don't think Nov scores will count for EA, but I'm not sure.
