SAT score (1300) and Standby Testing

Hello.
I am an international student.
I have already taken the SAT test and got 1300 for CR and Math sections.
I an going to apply to colleges in the U.S.

Is this score OK for international students to be considered for a GOOD and HIGH scholarship or fin. aid in the US colleges?

The thing is that this score is reletively high. However, some colleges have scholarships, where the minimun criteria is SAt score 1350+. So in this case, in order to be considered for these awards, I have to retake the SAT test and improve my results (in CR I have 520, in M 780). I have an option to retake the SAT in January using Standby Testing.

I come from a poor country, and my family is not so rich; so I am looking for a big (not necessarily ful) scholarship or fin. aid.

I really need your advice.

Write please what you think about my score and the option to retake the test.
Also, write what you know about Standby Testing. Does it have some disadvantages? Is the score using Standby Testing available at the same time as the scores of other guys?

Hey. I have undertook the standby testing. Should say that it is the same registering process as at the Internet, but in paper. The same questions. Regarding dates, no. Takers, passed on January 23 received the results on February 11. I, as of today February 21, didn’t still received my score. My test administrator said that I should wait 4-6 weeks. Hope to get the score next week.
Generally, I don’t recommend to take standby for it’s long processing time. I even don’t know how will I get my score, but guess by mail, which will take extra 1-1.5 weeks to deliver to central asia. Also, the hardship will emerge with additional score reports where I should call or whatever else that I not to know.
