Hey everyone!

I recently took a mock SAT and received a 2040. Here's the breakdown:

cr: 610
math: 780
writing: 650

I have 2 months left until I take the actual sat. Any advice on how to improve my score?

I greatly appreciate it!! :)

oh and i recieved a 9 on the essay. Thanks!

I say you practice practice practice and also download a quizlet app or its on the computer and just review the sat hit list words. Also for writing review the grammar rules from a barrons book.

I think CR is the hardest part to improve.
If you practice hard, you could definitely raise your overall score through Math and Writing. For Writing, I would recommend reading prep books to see their lists of the most common errors in the multiple choice section. Also, you should do a lot of practice tests yourself and work on your essay examples (if you think you’re not completely confident in that).

thank you so much! def going to start on the quizlet and keep practicing. Would this prepare me for the PSAT as well? cause i heard it was much harder.

It took 6 months for my D to improve the CR score by 50 from below 700.

I improved from a score of 590 to 610, and I’m constantly improving. I’ll keep practicing by doing a lot of cr passages and making vocab flashcards.
