SAT "score choice" option

Hello there

I REALLY need your help with this and I needed it fast .

I'm a prospective international student trying to send my SAT scores to
Colleges using the "score choice" option. Problem is - it DOESN'T WORK. I've
tried with different web browsers but each time it's the same : I select to send the
highest section sub-scores (according to the official SAT policies of my
Colleges) from both of my SAT tests taken (Nov and Dec 2010) but when I
proceed to the payment it says that ALL of my scores will be sent. If I
wanted to send all my scores in the first place, I would have used my right
to send 4 scores for free.

If anyone had the same problem , or knows the answer - please post it the soonest you can so I can meet my deadlines.

Let’s say you scored these (CR, M, W):

November 2010: 700, 600, 700
December 2010: 600, 700, 600

To use score choice, you still need to send the entire score (all three subscores) in order for the college to superscore your SAT. Don’t worry about them seeing not-so-great scores on the other test. If their policy is to take the highest section sub-scores, that’s what they’ll look at. You just can’t mix and match subscores from different tests.

wait - but College Board says you can :

take a look at the last part of the presentation

oh I’m so sorry … I see that totally misinterpreted this … I hope my schools will still only look for my best scores (as their official web sites say). My scores are :

CR: M: W:

nov :480 750 550
dec :590 630 700

will that make my total SAT score a 2040 (590 + 750 + 700) or not ? :S

Thank you very much for your response :)

That’s exactly what will happen (for the colleges that consider the highest section scores). If a college looks for the highest single sitting, your score would be a 1920 (since your overall December score was higher than your overall November score).
