SAT score (CR+M vs CR+M+W) for the UCs

<p>Hey guys, I'm retaking the December SAT Reasoning, but I was wondering what to write on the UC application.</p>

<p>They give one area for 'the score I want them to consider'
And one more area for 'tests I will be taking (ie. December test)'</p>

<p>I was wondering which one of my scores I should write down for the first area.</p>

<p>My scores are
1) CR 550 M 720 W 750 Total 2020, and 1270 CR+M
2) CR 560 M 750 W 660 Total 1970, and 1310 CR+M</p>

<p>So really, my question is, for the UCs, should I write down my best overall score (2020) or my best CR+M score (1310)?
I am aware they will see everything college board reports.</p>

<p>Most people would advice you to go with best overall score.</p>

<p>Best overall score. The UCs care about the writing section. In fact, they were the ones who pressured the College Board into adding it as part of the SAT I.</p>
