Which of these SAT Scores should I report for the UCs?

Ok well I have a weird kind of situation. My May SAT was 1860 with 1210 CR+Math and my October SAT was 1940 but with 1200 SAT....

May 2007 SAT:
560 CR
650 Math
650 Writing (8 essay)
---1860 total

October 2007 SAT
540 CR
660 Math
740 Writing (10 essay)
--1940 total

As you can see, my combined CR+Math is higher in May while the total score is 80 points below October. Which of them should I report? Because I'm taking the December SAT and the UC only gives you enough space to include two SAT reasoning scores. And the UCs only take the highest score from a single setting; you can't superscore.

I'd go with the higher score, and the net 80 point increase. The Writing section exists because UC made CB add it, so they'll be impressed with a high score. The differences in the CR+M are statistically insignificant.

btw: with such a high W score, I'm surprised your CR is less than 600. Spend the next few days focusing on your CR weaknesses and perhaps you'll clear 2000. Good luck.

Thanks, bluebayou. Yeah I have no idea, CR just isn't for me. . . will it look awkward to them as it is? With my huge differences in CR and writing. But yeah I'm working on it.
