So I took this December's SAT Subject Tests and I got my score back. However, I'm waiting until Dec. 28th when they give me my full score report so I can see what percentile I am and decide if I want to send it.
What I'm wondering is if I send my SAT scores on Dec. 28th, will it be too late to meet the Jan 1st deadline? Is the deadline saying that it needs the scores by that date, or that we should send the scores by that date?
Please help!

Don’t worry about percentile. What were you raw scores, and for what subjects? Where are you applying?

I have the same kind of problem. I sent out my scores out on the 21st, and am wondering if my scores will be received on time. CB phone lines are closed since it’s Christmas. Are they going to be open tomorrow? I really hope so.

Some schools say scores must be “postmarked” by Jan 1, but they accept scores ELECTRONICALLY, so I don’t know if there’s a digital postmark or what. I’m so confused.

My problem is worse. I did it as standby and I think the papers were sent late. Haven’t got a registration confirmation yet and none of my friends who did the test on that date have gotten there results yet. I’m hoping it won’t affect my deadlines as the schools I’m applying to say they start (re)viewing applications 1st March, even though the deadline is 1st Jan. Not sure.

I thought for subject tests, percentile is what mattered? raw scores don’t really mean much for subject tests is what i thought. i mean of course over a 700 is always good, but I got a 700 on Math I and a 690 on Lit which is nothing special.
I’m applying to CMU, JHU, and Columbia.
Also can anyone answer my original question? Do colleges need scores by the deadline or just postmarked by the deadline?

^It depends on the college.
