I am so stupid for only rerquesting an sat score report today and now i am very worried that it would not reach the school in time. For personal experience, how long does it generally take for collegeboard to send the scores? Does the school accept late score reports? Please help! U of Michigan is my dream school and I should have had better time management than procrastinating this until now!
It typically takes 3-5 working days, but may take longer during prime time. You don’t need to worry at all.
You need to worry if there is a Nov 1st deadline. My son requested scores on Oct 19 to be sent it is Oct 27th and CB has STILL not sent the scores! I called them and they said in busy times like this it can take 14 business days. They allowed me to pay $31 extra dollars and rush those scores which they said were guaranteed to be sent by the 29the (2days processing) I am seeing people who requested on the 16th and18th still not had their scores sent.
I don’t think UMich accept rush score. You may want to check.
I don’t know about UMICH -but UMD told me there is NO difference in how the college receives rush scores, the difference is only how quickly CB inputs your scores into the computer to be sent. Both ways are sent electronically in the SAME electronic file method, just with regular it can take CB 14days to input your scores into the computer file being sent and with rush it only takes 2 days to input your scores into the file being electronically delivered… but it is still the same file.
It used to be different but the last several years tech caught up and it is all the same now no separate disks unless the college doesn’t have an electronic account with college board (highly unlikely for UMICH- but I don’t know for sure)
