Some of us will try to forget them, some will hold onto them for years to come, but, truthfully, will they ever have any impact again?

The only things I can think of:

-Transfer Admissions
-Finance/Investment Banking jobs after college (in order to separate the kids that should be at great schools from the ones who got in b/c of hooks)

Wait, I'm sorry, are you telling me that investment banking firms look at SAT scores when hiring new applicants? I find that extremely hard to believe.

True story...I am a CPA and an Attorney. Years ago, when I was thinking of changing positions, the human resources department of a prospective firm asked me for various material including my SAT scores. I told them that because I had gone to high school 25 years ago, I had no recollection of what I did on that exam. They kept saying that the needed the scores...I told them to find another candidate. I opened my own firm, made enough and retired at 50. Sometimes, things work out. Just enjoy yourselves in whatever you do....everything else usually works out fine. Marc

Sure they can have an impact. Discuss them and bore all your friends. Bring yours up at a party and see if you ever get invited back. Brag about them on a first date and see if you ever get a second.
