<p>How exactly does my GPA hinder my chances that much? Isn’t NYU’s average (including stern) around a 3.6?</p>

<p>Yeah, I mean NYU as a whole. Some of the other schools (which are less selective than both CAS and Stern) bring the average to about a 3.6</p>

<p>sorry, you’re probably right then. i’ll make it a match, dead on. (i’m used to chancing for ivies, so my judging on publics and nyu etc… isn’t quite as spot on sorry). Stern is a fabulous school, you’ll hopefully make a lot of bank :)</p>

<p>I’m here to chance back :slight_smile: Well…your SATs look definitely high. Your average GPA may be your problem, but considering the rise and that GPA in your junior year…maybe not too much of an interference. I strongly believe you will be admitted.
p.s. I believe it would be best to send AP scores that are above 4.</p>

<p>You have a good GPA, great SAT scores, and your ECS are good, too. With that upward trend in your GPA, just write a good enough essay, and you should be able to get in (especially since your applying ED). Good luck!</p>
