SAT scores need to be higher because of change in the SAT?

This past year the SAT was changed. I have heard colleges expect students to preform 60-70 points better than students than students graduating from high school in 2017 who to the old SAT, therefore the SAT ranges schools advertise are actually lower than what they are expecting this year. However, none of the colleges seem to be factoring in this adjustment when they post average SAT scores expected for admissions. Do you guys think the 60-70 points holds true? So they even really know? We asked a couple of admissions directors and got mixed answers.
