SAT scores received past application deadline??

So I just missed the registration date for the November 4 SAT and so I guess I have to take the December 2 one. All of the schools that I'm applying to (all RD) say that the latest you can take the test is the January test date, but applications are due January 1. I plan on finishing/sending most of stuff by the beginning of December (because some state schools have priority financial aid December 1 and I would rather have everything mailed off and done with by then). If a school receives my applications with my first SAT reasoning scores (M: 650, CR:800, W:800) in the middle of December and then my new scores are sent after the December test date, will the schools be able to look at both sets of scores? I'm not unhappy with my first set of scores but I want to raise my math score by 50 points and I'd like it if colleges could see that.

Thanks.

Yes, the RD schools will see the scores, as they have until March/April to send out their thick or thin envelopes.
