SAT scores

hey guys

i took the SAT sophomore yr and did ok.
Im plannin to take em again this spring (im a junior), but if i do bad on this one, will the one i took as a sophomore be counted fully for college admissions compared to others who took it their junior yr?

and also, any of u know any good schools that using rolling admissions?

Colleges take the highest section scores and combine them and then consider that score. If you do well this spring, then don't worry about the sophomore one.

As for rolling admissions, what do you mean by "good"? What SAT score range does that imply?

No i meant that if i did well on the sophomore one but what if i do not so well on the junior one. Does the soph one count as much as others' junior ones?

And also, for rolling admissions im considering schools that are around a 1700-1800 range?

While it is somewhat unusual to take the SAT prior to June at the end of sophomore year, I'm pretty sure it's only middle school SATs that "don't count," and that sophomore ones are perfectly fine. Of course, I would be very shocked if you did worse in Jr/Sr year, so I wouldn't worry about it too much...is there any reason why you think you might?

hmmmm......common sense says that you should only register for the SAT when you feel that you can improve on previous scores....

so why did you take it during your sophomore year?

I dunno I guess i should do better junior year(this year), i guess im jus a bit nervous.
Whats wrong with taking them sophomore year?
