What is the "acceptable" sat scores for Cornell?
I know most colleges don't have like a "cutline" for scores, but is it mostly 700+ for math, reading and writing?

IMO, depending on what college, for Cornell a safe threshold for serious consideration would be:
650+ CR 700+ M
Not sure about writing.

In my opinion 700 in each is perfect, and on the high end.

[Take a look at the class profile.](http://admissions.cornell.edu/downloads/EnteringClassProfile.pdf)

On the high end?

You do know how to read statistics, correct?

Just asking what SATs are acceptable without saying college is absolutely meaningless.

A 650 CR 650 M might be fine for Hotel, but not for engineering.

ok…
What if I want to go into chemistry major?
Would it be about the same?
Thanks…!

I’d say 700+ CR 720+ Math would be acceptable.
