Is anyone familiar with the curve for the SAT II Spanish? How many can you get wrong for an 800? 750? 700? If any1 has the blue 22 Real SAT II book, what is the curve like in the Spanish test in there? Thank you very much.

Well I am a mexican and I got 800 for SATII Spanish a couple of years ago and I think that the curve is really high....because I didnt miss more than 4 almost for sure....I could say that I missed one or two but not more....So Good Luck.

85 - 81 - 800
80 - 790
79 - 78 - 780
77- 76 - 770
75 - 74 - 760
73 - 72 - 750
71 - 740
70 - 69 - 730
68 - 67 - 720
66 - 710
65 - 65 - 700

Man, I must have really bombed it last spring when I got a 650. I was all about retaking it in November, but it's not offered. I'll go for Lit instead.

To get a 650, you need 57/56

Thanks every1 for the quick response... By the way, how much does this suck that there's a new CC board. i mean the new features seem awesome , but now everything from the 'old board' is lost, and u cant continue those conversations without REPOSTING almost all of it....

I know what you mean...I had to reregister and it was a pain. BTW, I don't know if this helps but I got a 750 and missed around 8-10 so I'd say that davidrune's scale is pretty accurate.

how does everyone think they did on that test? what parts do you think were hardest? i remember i left 21 and 22 blank. and was the answer to the last question with one of those reading passages "suyo" or "suyos"?

I found the passage with the singer the hardest. Man, that was weird. Otherwise I found the test pretty easy, compared to Barrons.

the passage with the singer..?? oh Carlos Santana!? yea i thought that there was one or two tough ones on that passage, ur right. hwo long have you studied spanish tally?

I thought the grammar ones were the hardest, and the reading comprehensions were wicked easy. This is my second time taking it, hoping to bring up my last score of 650. I want to major in Spanish so I figured I should at least get it up to a 700.

How many years has everyone taken Spanish and what did you get/expect to get? This is my 6th year of Spanish (I'm taking an advanced level college course right now with a prereq of 3rd year college spanish, but my grammar sucks, so I probably got like a 680 this time)

i had one of them down to "taller" and "carton". the question referred to where the guy worked. i put carton. do you guys KNOW what carton means? FREAKIN. CARDBOARD. and taller means factory. I SAID HE WORKS AT CARDBOARD. hits self on forehead

jangel--
I'm in AP Spanish this year but what helped me the most is that I spent five weeks in Spain last summer. I think that really helped my grammar and my vocabulary because now I sort of have an "ear" for Spanish. You know how you can read something in english and just know if it sounds right or not? I can sort of do that with Spanish and I found myself doing that a lot on the test. I'm hoping to get a 750+ but apparently that's impossible unless you're native... I've got my fingers crossed.

Yeah, I also spent some time in Spain the summer before last dredhead. I've been studying Spanish on and off since grade 4. I'm also part Cuban, but we don't speak Spanish at all at home, so that's more a nifty fun fact than anything that would help me on the test. Anyhow, I put taller, so yay, at least I know I got one right.

Eh. I'm really hoping for a 750+, too. I was being a idjit and omitted two...I can get 10 wrong and still get a 750. Here's hoping.
