SAT Spanish Test

I am a Korean who have moved to Argentina about 4 years ago and now I speak Spanish quite fluently; fluent enough to translate a sermon from Korean to Spanish in a local Korean church.
I heard that taking SAT subject test in one’s first language will look bad but what about the local language of the country I live?
My first language is Korean but I still live in a country where they speak Spanish. Would taking Spanish SAT subject test help me in any way?

Would it help in any way? Yes. Depending upon the college, it can be used to get an exemption form the college’s foreign language requirement. Beyond that? I doubt it. The Subject Tests for foreign languages test at the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which is an elementary level. AO’s know this and are unlikely to be impressed by a student living in Argentina presenting one.

Hmm… So you mean it won’t be much helpful to get me into that college, right? Well then I should reconsider taking it. Thank you very much!
