Hey guys!

So I recently purchased a bunch of SAT Prep books that are said to be staples for a good score.

These include:

Blue Book (I only took about 2 practice tests)
Rocket Review
Meltzer's Ultimate Grammar Guide
Meltzer's Critical Reading
Barron's 2400
Barret's Black Book
Online Copy of Grammatix (which should be similar to the black book since I just wanted a hard copy)

I've also got PR, Kaplan, McGraw Hill's, Barron's, and some more.

My current SAT score ranges from 2050-2150 (770-800 M and low 600s for R and high 600s for W, 8 on essay). My weaknesses are clearly reading and writing and occasionally 1 question in math that I can't figure out until a later time. My goal is to exceed 2250 and perhaps achieve a perfect score. I go to a competitive school where pretty much everyone in the top 5% has SAT scores beyond 2200. I'm planning on taking the SAT in October and since I'm a rising senior, this will be my final chance.

Basically, I have been working through the Barron's 2400 book and I am about 1/2 way done. My internship takes up a lot of my time, but it's about to end next week. So using the books that I have and the time left until school starts (I've got 7 APs and 1 college course), what do you think is the most efficient study schedule for me to maximize my score by going through each book? I'm pretty mediocre on vocabulary; I typically answer the medium difficulty sent. comp. questions accurately 75% of the time, but get the difficult ones wrong. So, is it worth my time to memorize the Barron's 3500 (online copy) or should I just memorize Direct Hits or both? Also, there's the new 500 Essential Words by the same author as DH. Should I memorize those words as well? Do you guys think I should spend some time finding a strategy that suites me for reading? Does AcademicHacker's 12 Essay Guide work? And is it better to write the thesis at the end of the intro, at the beginning, or does it not matter?

By the way, I heard that Maximum SAT was decent, but do you guys think that it's necessary considering what I've purchased already? I purchased the 2005-2006 version of RR since it's significantly cheaper. Are there any notable differences between this version and the 2006-2007 version?

Sorry for the abundance of questions! But I'm sure that there are others who are in a situation similar to mine and this thread could be helpful to them as well.

Last but definitely not least, thanks!
