Am i studying for the SAT the right way?

I'm not sure if i'm studying the right way.

I have a tutor (who knows about the SAT, but too well) and we're working on the CollegeBoard (10 practice tests) book together. As I complete the homework that he gives me on the SAT on the blue book, I also study on my own on Rocket Revolution SAT Guide, which is a book that i could study on my own.

Do you think I'm studying the right way?
Any additional information? Any other SAT books that you recommend for self-studying and/or with tutor?

Thanks.

You should read the NY Times atleast once a day. Also you should get Direct Hits. Those two resources can help you alot. If I were you, I’d also get a math workbook. If your math score is lower than 650, get grubers once it’s higher or if it’s already higher, get Dr. Chungs. Barrons 2400 has some beast strategies for CR too. These books with the BB and old SAT test, you’re good to go.

is Barron’s 2400 for students who already has a decent score like 650 on Critical Reading and writing and math?

Yes ^
I was reading your scores on a different port (1500s right).
Definately use kaplan. It’s fun and easy. Then move on the barrons and pR or whatever

I get really frustrated, because some people say that Kaplan is the most worthless book ever. and some people say its the best.

I think i should just buy all the possible books in the market, and i think that’s the key to acing the SAT. What do you guys think

Why are you calling Kaplan useless? With your scores, it’s bound to be somewhat useful

Well there’s hundreds of Kaplan SAT books, but what in specific?
The premier thingi?

I looked at all the Kaplan books and they have horrible vocabulary words and stuff.
I’ll look at it in more specific though
