SAT studying over the Summer.

I am aiming for a 1450/2200 on the october SAT. I plan to take a chunk out of everyday (1 hr to 1 1/2 hrs) to study. Here is what I aim to study

First thing- Vocab
I want to ace the sentence completions on the October SAT, so I am free to get 4-5 wrong on passages. Should I just read, a ton (which i hear works wonders, but im a little skeptical) or study the words from an SAT book (Gruber's for example).

Second Thing- Math
On the last SAT, i got a bit nervous during the sections. How can I improve my speed in doing the problems. I can usually figure them out, but just not always in the time frame given.

Third Thing- How to study. Should I study 30 min for each subject a day, or do a different subject everyday (or every week?).

With the exception of the 2 weeks before the ACT (which i am going to non-stop do science problems), I am free from now until october. How do you think I should go about in studying for this test

practice doing timed essays in those 20 mins.. dont cheat..

study alot of vocab... and do alot of math questions.. you should even do SAT 2 Math IC questions if you have the time..

I am doing the same thing. I am doing a lot of CR. I find that I get most of the questions right (probably 1 wrong every now and again), but I find that I take my time and spend well over 25 minutes on each section.

Does anyone have any advice on how to work quicker?

try reading the passage q's before the passage so you know what to look for and can save time instead of re-reading for text evidence. take notes while reading the passage and underline ideas that seem critical. this will save you more time in the long run
