WHEN DO I STUDY?!

I really want to do well on the SAT and I'm pretty sure I've bought every SAT prep book out there, I've downloaded all the SAT vocab apps, and I've watched tons of YouTube videos. But lately, I haven't studied at all. I really don't have time. I'm in the IB program and with all of the IA's and EE things due, the SAT comes last. But I KNOW that I have to be studying multiple times a week to do well. I'm at a 2000 right now and I really, really want (need) a 2300 by October. What should I do? Set aside time twice or thrice a week to study - even though my other grades may suffer? Will just studying on the weekends be sufficient? What do you guys do? Please help!

Thanks everyone!

I assume you’re going to take the SAT for the first time in May? Try to find a 15 to 20 minute block of time that you will dedicate to SAT prep every day. Pick a very specific time and stick to it. If you can’t find 15 minutes, at least find 10. A little every day is the most effective way to prepare.

To prepare for the ACT, I took a full test on the weekend and every morning I woke up and just took a section of the test. I know waking up and setting time aside sucks but it’s important and will help in the long wrong. Last year I took all AP and IB classes, so I know what you mean!

Thanks so much, I think I’m going to just start setting aside 30 mins at a time every morning.
