My D is registered to take the Bio and Math 2 subject tests. She wants to take the US History test instead of the math. The College Board website is confusing. Under the 'Changing the test center, test date, or test type' section, it states: Test date, test center and test type changes must be made in advance; these changes cannot be made on test day. Then under the next section titled 'Changes allowed on test day', it states: On test day, students can change which SAT Subject Tests they are taking. If it is in fact true that she will be able to switch tests, wouldn't there be a chance that they will run out of some of the subject tests? Has this happened to anyone?

You can switch any test for another as long as it is not a language with listening. My son did it with no problem. (Math II for Math I).

I concur with RunsWScissors above, as a student who took the most recent test and switched easily (Latin-out, Literature-in).

One other exception would be that you can’t take two Bio tests on the same day, so if your daughter was slated to take Bio-E and Math 2, she couldn’t switch from Math 2 to Bio-M and take two Bios.
