Would it be okay to take SAT II in the fall of senior year? I was just about to sign up for them but then i realized it might be better if i study over the summer and then take them in October. I'm already taking the SAT's for my second time this Saturday and the ACTS second time on June 8th plus finals are coming up!! I'm planning on taking Math I and Literature, so its not like the subjects are fresh in my mind because those subjects are just things you learn over time. but then again im worried i wont do well and wont really have a chance to re-take them since it will be time to apply to colleges. help??

For early action or early decision you need to complete all testing by either October test date or November test date of your senior year, depending on college. For regular admission, you need to complete all testing by December test date or January test date, depending on college.

please help, anyone!

Yes, it is fine to take them in the fall.

I took SAT Subject tests (formerly “Achievement” tests) in the fall of my senior year…and I did OK in the college admissions process.

That’s just my purely anecdotal info. Hope it helps…

For subjects that don’t need anything fresh in mind, you can take them any time before application deadline.
