I am wondering if anyone could help me with a question about these:

I am a senior with currently a 30 ACT, No SAT, and 710 Math2, 650 Chemistry, and 610 Literature. In order to make improve my chances at some top colleges, what area should I try to improve? Also, when can I take the tests? It is my understanding that December tests will be accepted anywhere.

So:

SAT or Subject Tests on the 2nd of December?
ACT on the 9th? One factor is that it would be my 3rd ACT (28 the first time)
Can I take the January SAT or Subject Tests then?

Many colleges "recommend" (but don't require) that you complete testing by the deadline you apply under (so for reg. decision that's usually December's tests)...

But yeah as far as I know, all of the colleges I've looked at definitely accept the December tests.

You might want to try the SAT just to see if you do better on it than on the ACT (a 30 is a great score, but some people do better on the SAT than the ACT, and vice versa). Unfortunately I'm the same on both, lol.

Or, you could take the ACT and have another shot at the regular standardized test on the Dec. 9 ACT and ALSO another shot at the subject tests on the 2nd. I don't see how taking the ACT 3 times would matter, I've taken it over 5 times lol!

Remember that colleges often look at your 2 top Subject Tests, so you've already got one SAT II that's high. You might try taking Chemistry again since it was your 2nd highest. Might as well take 3 Subject Tests again since you can...idk which others you'd want to take though.

This is all just my personal advice! Good luck to all of us seniors!
