SAT subject tests: World History and US history dont count?

I'm on my UC applications and when i put in us history and world history for my 2 subject tests it's telling me that i need to pick 2 different subjects? I thought that US history and World history count as 2 subjects for UC's? Its too late to take another subject test for the semester next fall..and i am so confused and kinda scared...please..is there something I can do!??!

I think you may be stuck...

When they say two different subjects, they mean in two different areas
like history and math
or language and science

there can't be in two in history

contact collegeboard, maybe you can still get in with late registration

yeah, you can get in for standby testing for the december test.

How do i register for the standby test? It says I need to fill out an application, but i don't see it.

you just show up at the testing center. bring your id and stuff.

here is a link.

Okay, So i just show up with my id, pencil, fill out the application over there, and have a check with an envelope to send to college board, who should the check be made to? Just "The College Board"?

Thanks alot, and what are the chances I can actually take the test, are the SAT centers usually full?

Oh yea, I have another question. If my UC application is due on Nov 30th, and I take the subject test on Dec 1'st , how am i supposed to do this? How do I include this in my appliation and let the UC's know that I am taking the SAT the next day

You simply state December 2007, state the subject and leave the score blank.

there will most likely be room. especially when the tests are really close together, like with november and december. people have to register for the december test before they get their november scores back. so if they do well enough on the november test, they wont show up at the december test. so its pretty likely that there will be room.
